As the landscape of child health care continues to evolve, our physicians and nurse practitioners at Cary Pediatric Center are striving to keep pace.  We are making every effort to provide comprehensive infant, childhood and adolescent care to the children of Western Wake County.

We are using developmental screens in our office at many checkups to make sure that we are addressing the developmental needs of the children of the practice.  When needed, our staff and other local developmental experts perform more in-depth screens of preschool age children to better define their strengths and weaknesses.  For school-age children, we are now working with parents and schools to perform ADHD evaluations in our office, to more efficiently assist young learners in our school systems.

Select providers are also experienced in the evaluation and management of routine gynecologic care of adolescent females in our practice.  This provides competent and confidential care for young women within the walls of our pediatric practice.

Dr. Bowman in our Apex Office provides professional ear piercing for our greater Cary Pediatric Family.  He prefers to see children from two to six months, and over 8 years of age. Please call your office if you would like to schedule your child's first ear piercing with him.
