We are using developmental screens in our office at many checkups to make sure we don’t miss any subtle problems. Our office has a special developmental nurse, Janice Genova, who can, when needed, perform more in-depth screens of preschool age children to better define their strengths and weaknesses.

We now offer computer-based cognitive function testing for young athletes to serve as a baseline for the child in case they would suffer a concussion. While this testing is available for athletes of contact sports in public schools and private schools, our middle school athletes often do not always have this option.
