When you come to any of our 3 locations, we ask that:
We are trying to protect everyone from COVID-19. Please help us by doing your part!
Cary/Fuquay/Apex Peds will be closed Friday, 12/25 and Friday, January 1 to celebrate the holidays. We will be open Thursday, 12/24 and Saturday, 12/26 at our Apex location from 8a-12 noon for walk-in sick urgent care. Have a safe, happy & healthy holiday!
Each office has flu vaccine available! All flu vaccines are by appointment only. Please call the office to schedule your vaccine today! It's not too late!
We have made the difficult decision to "pause" our weekday walk-in hours from 8:00a to 8:50a in all three locations. If you need early morning sick care, please call the office at 8:00a to speak with one of our scheduling coordinators who can schedule an appointment for you. Our goal is to resume weekday walk-in hours as soon as we are able to do it safely!
Saturday Walk-In Hours have not changed! We will still have Saturday Urgent Sick Walk-in hours in Apex from 8:00am - 12:00 noon.
When you come to any of our 3 locations, you will probably notice a few changes. For your safety, we have added a Plexiglas window at each of our check in desks. You will also notice we have measured out places to stand to allow for social distancing. Each team member will be wearing a mask, and we require that any patient over the age of two wears one as well - both in the waiting room and in the exam room. To minimize exposure to our staff and other patients, we will allow one parent per child at your visit. Exceptions to this rule are the newborn recheck, 2-week appointment, of if your child has special needs.
Before check in, you will be asked several screening questions. If you answer "yes" to any of the following symptoms, you will be asked to leave the building, wait in your car and a manager will contact you by phone:
* Cough
* Fever in the past 24 hours
* A known exposure to COVID-19
* Or if anyone in your household is pending a COVID-19 test result
Currently, we are seeing patients with these symptoms in our Apex location. If you have a scheduled well child visit and can answer yes to any of those questions, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment.
We are thankful for the trust you place in us to care for your family. Please know that your health and safety is our highest priority.
