Get The Right Dose

Be confident that you are treating your child’s pain or fever with the correct dose of medication. We can guide you on how much to give, based on your child’s weight.

Walk-In Urgent Sick Visits

We offer urgent sick walk-in visits Monday through Friday beginning at 8:00 am.  There are a limited number of appointments and we recommend you arrive at 8:00 am. If there are no appointments when you arrive to the office, we will schedule you at the next available appointment time.

We Accept Most Insurance

In order to best serve the families in our community, we take most insurances, including Medicaid. Please call our office to make sure that we are enrolled with your plan.

Weather Update: 01/27/26

Cary/Fuquay/Apex Pediatrics will open Tuesday, January 27th at 10am. We will have walk-in hours from 10am – 10:50am.

If you have an appointment scheduled tomorrow between 8am and 10am, we will reach out to you to reschedule.

How will I know if you are closed due to weather?

Cary/Fuquay/Apex Pediatrics lists unexpected closings in several places; this website, on social media (Facebook and Instagram) and on WRAL Weather closings. Calling the office before you come on bad weather days is always a good idea!

Whenever possible, we will send a newsletter or text to patients with scheduled appointments letting them know of any changes.

Be safe, be warm and check here for any updates about any closures!

Asthma

Asthma affects one in ten children and is one of the most common chronic diseases of childhood. As a practice, we are committed to helping you and your child control their asthma symptoms so that they can have a normal and active lifestyle.

Flu Season

First, and most importantly, we recommend that all children 6 months and older receive the flu vaccine. This is the best and most effective way to prevent your children from getting the flu. If you haven’t already, please call one of our offices to schedule a nurse visit to receive the flu vaccine. Flu vaccine is available in early September through June of the following year.
