Dr. Pankiewicz was born in Illinois but claims Pittsburgh as his home. Go Steelers! He spent most of his life in Pennsylvania before being drawn to North Carolina for his pediatric residency at Duke. He and his family loved the area so much they decided to stay! He and his wife, Alexa, have 3 children: 2 human, Elliott and Quinn, and 1 canine, Kona. In pediatrics, Aaron enjoys the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity and other preventable illnesses. Outside of work, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, running, and exploring fun new adventures in the area.
